With the Modbus interface, Wilo provides an industrial standard which has been proven worldwide. The protocol structure is as simple as it is widespread. The widespread RS485 technology with the RTU protocol is used. The data points of the IF-Module are widely compatible with those which were available via the first Wilo Modbus interface, the DigiCon-Modbus. This makes it easy to switch to the module-based architecture.
