National Energy Efficiency Action Plan

In 2006 the EC Directive on energy end use and energy services was introduced.  This Legislation was setup to enhance the cost effective improvement of energy use within the group of member states.  Due to Irelands involvement within the EU, the National Energy Efficiency Action Plan was published in 2009.  The main objective of the ( NEEAP) is to indentify policies and measures that have the potential to contribute to lowering Irelands CO2 emissions by 20% by 2020.

The second phase of the plan was published in 2013 and it is during this phase of the plan that an inventory was taken of public buildings such as hospitals and government head quarters.

With this in mind, it is worth considering the pumps installed within your building.  WILO Ireland will be happy to carry out a brief survey of the pumps by one of our Engineers.  The potential savings can be easily calculated and a life cycle cost analysis, which will determine the return on investment costs, will be compiled.

Remember savings of up to 70% can be achieved!
